Ellen Notbohm is a Gold Medal and Grand Prize-winning author for both fiction and nonfiction, in addition to garnering a broad array of awards for writing across several genres. Her books have won a Chanticleer International Book Awards Grand Prize, Gold and Silver IPPYs, two Western Writers of America Spur Awards and The Sarton Women’s Book Award, as well as First Place in the Goethe Awards for Historical Fiction, First Runner-up for the Eric Hoffer Award for Historical Fiction and shortlisted twice for the Eric Hoffer Grand Prize.
